I'm trying not to make snap decisions these days. In the past, I'd hear a tune I totally dug and I'd submit it for SLS consideration that day. Now, I try and sit on it for bit, giving tunes multiple listens before making such a decision.

After about 30 listens, I've decided "Crazy" is SLS worthy. It's different, funky and fun.

This song - Crazy - says it all. In three stanzas it's "I'm' crazy, then "you're" crazy then "we're" crazy. All in a short, sweet and simple tune - no theatrics.

There'd be more discussions for sure if this song was about vampires/and/or/lust murderers(like the idiotic Toadies song that's still being worried like an old sock.)

Elisabetta, this is where we start that crazy web-feuled rumour that "Crazy" is about blood-thirsty vampires.

hey Mr Boon not only are we crazy like foxes but my friend says this is the insane asylum of the universe. I am SO surprised that nobody's posted HATE ME, a classic song about a vampire going cold turkey whilst his mama wrings her hands (and his socks) in the background and the rest of the band keels over in various faints - personally I prefer blue cheese. And Gnarly boy sure is cute, no Snarly boy, he - saw him and his alter ego in the NYT magazine about 3 issues ago - apparently they never go out of character - G.B. being a fun black vampire dude and the other guy, the unnamed one - well, he's a vampire for sure. I could swear that he had blood spots on his t-shirt and - get this, this is SOOO X-Files - I'll go to mah graaaave believing that they spelled out I AIN'T CRAZY, YOU IS.... out out, damned spot!

oh hah hah ha you're a card. crazy is as crazy does, but in such a fun way! otherwise everyone'd hate the song.

speaking of hate, just after i posted this little bon bon i nearly fell into the page about blue october which someone had nominated after all. so my ramblings about hate me are redundant. QUESTION: why is it so difficult to find nominations? there's no search function that i've been able to find - perhaps mah craaaziness is interfering with my vision.

on another note, (yup, still about crazy and possibly 'bout vampiahs) caught a glimpse of the arctic monkeys on SNL. yup, they's as craaaaazy as snarlin' gnarlin'. or perhaps they were hopped up on some chemical: ripped thru their first song in millisecond-divided-by-blur-squared time. eyes like a couple of black holes in the frigid outer reaches of the universe - the insane universe, that is.

To quote somebody who's REALLY crazy - John McLaughlin, the PBS bulldog - buh-baaaaaiiiiiiiii
