Listen for the bit this song steals from Tears For Fears' Head Over Heals.

It's still a good tune though.

steals? Its called sampling ... musicians do it all the time, just like covering an older song

Sampling is very different. Public Enemy would sample all the time - it's taking a piece of music from another tune and looping it. James Brown, Stevie Wonder, whatever...it's all good.

When you bum a riff and don't give credit, it's called stealing. Subconsciously perhaps, but theivery nonetheless.

I'm a Foo Fighters fan, don't get me wrong, but this tune as some Tears For Fears in it!

There is a very, very vague resemblence to Tears For Fears' "Head Over Heels", but it is far from stealing.. I don't even think it can be classified as sampling. I would simply write the resemblence off as a fluke, personally.

What this tune does to "Head Over Heels" is nothing compared to what the new Jet tune, "Rollover DJ", does to BTO's "Takin' Care Of Business".

Now that's stealing. Am I right?

If my memory serves me correctly, it's from a DVD entitled "Low/Times Like These". I believe they called it a DVD/EP. It's a great version, better than the electric.

Fact of the Day: Times Like These was written on an acoustic guitar.
