This is a good song, though the verses could be a bit longer. I like the (instrument) solo that plays 2x, I don't know what the instrument there is.

How did I make a mistake with this entry? I listen to Elephant all the time. I love The White Stripes. "The Air Near My Fingers" certainly qualifies... How did I miss it?

Oh yeah, you've submitted dozens and dozens of songs that are clearly ineligible. You, G.Y.X. Kid, submitted about 20 songs from old They Might Be Giants albums. Submissions need to be new rock. When you submit an older tune, it wastes my time because I have to sort them. I got so many ineligible tunes from you I accidentally threw "The Air Near My Fingers" out with the bath water.

We appreciate your contributions, but I want you to try and submit tunes like this one that actually qualify for SLS consideration. I want to see a submission from G.Y.X. Kid and know it's credible...much like I know submissions from Marty, Tex, Goatt, Steve, Marc and, of course, Mark are always gold.

I won't do it again

I also put more stuff in with the bath water that time when I was on a posting spree, that you might have thrown away w/o really seeing them. I suggested Nosebleed Nosy by ToxiToys & Don't Stay by Linkin Park (maybe those are too old by now) and I also put a song from the Gamecube game Sonic Heroes, called This Machine, which is probably new enough.
