I'm not a huge fan of Something Corporate, but I just discovered this song and fell in love. It's beautiful! Am I reading the lyrics correctly - this song is about a woman who, after many years of marriage, kills her husband (or contemplates it)?

i agree this is great one. i mean im a huge fan of soco to being with, but this song really shows their musical growth over the years. its a more mature soco sound, which is great

I agree with u guys! "North" is one of my fav albums at the mo, and "me and the moon" is my fav track! The lyrics and the song are both so beautiful! Its nearly enough to make you cry when you think about it all!

yes i think you read the lyrics right, the opening line "it's a good year for a murder, she's praying to jesus she's pulling the trigger" says it all. She wants to kill him before he kills her!

is He God? Is he her husband?
who is it that really abandoned her?

is a child something a man can give a woman? has she been middle aged and married for 17 years? or is she 17... has the Person she's speaking of known her, her entire life?
