Sorry, I forgot what I was going to comment on. Oh yeah, Sloan. The Rest of My Life is pure pop gold. It's catchy and fun. It's good live too, as I heard at this year's Edgefest. I'm going to predict that when it comes down to selecting the top 80 minutes of rock for SLS10 that this one is left on the cutting room floor. Sorry boys, I love those hooks, but SLS needs to be rock hard heavy heat!

Not sure about that. It is possible, but I think it will take one of two things to happen: 1) It gets super-overplayed between now and then and/or 2) a second decent single from the new Sloan album usurps it as the SLS contender.

Normally a fan of Sloan, but something about this song bugs me. As proud as I am a Canadian and Mexican, the line "I know that I'm going to live in Canada" seems like a really forced rhyme.
