Puddle Of Mudd sucks ass for a multitude of reasons. Comparing this band to Alice In Chains or Nirvana is so insulting to anyone with good musical tastes. Plus they write some pretty shitty "music". Which fits them and there mainstream psyche really well. I'm guessing the age range this band attracts is kids 12-16.. Very shitty crappy excuse for music.

I think that some people choose not to listen to these "guys" because they suck on a dimensionally vast scale. I've heard more tolerable sounds come from a dying animal. To be completely honest, there's absolutely no redeeming quality in their product (I refuse to call it "music").

The music industry is dead. It's not about art anymore, it's about who sells the most records, who appeals to the broadest audience, and who takes the prettiest pictures. That's it. And you pre-pubescent idiots eat it all up.

Puddle of Mudd (learn to spell your favorite band's name correctly, at least the way they choose to spell it) and all the other "post-grunge", "nu-metal", "alternative-rock", whatever bands can suck my balls for being some of the biggest sellout hacks of all time.

I would have to agree with the last post. Puddle of Mudd was... ok at best, when they first came out. But all I listen to is rock music, and "PSYCHO" plays like ever 5 minutes. Not only are the vocals comparable to the sound produced when skinning a cat, but the guitar riff is pathetic, anybody can pluck the same 2 strings on the same 5-7 notes. it takes TALENT to produce something of the calliber that the music industry needs today. Personally I much prefer Finger Eleven or some of the other bands that are putting their own twist on some really popular songs from the 70s. I was born in the 80s and frankly, DEVO is more tolleralbe than the crap that has come out of Puddle Of Mudd
