Does anyone else like emo or screamo? I'm not talking about fake emo bands like Dashboard Confessional. Most emo bands aren't that popular. Here are some of my favorite emo and screamo bands. What are your's?

If there's one thing I hate as much as poser bands, it's emo and screamo. Idiotic, cliche, self-pitying SHIT. |

No, these are real emo/screamo bands. Trust me real screamo is way harder than punk or even hardcore punk. Screamo is more closer to grindcore than punk. Check out Circle Takes the Square. Stuff like From Autumn to Ashes and A Static Lullaby isn't screamo, but I still like those bands. |

I've listened to real Screamo, and it's gay. It seriously sucks.
And there is no way in hell you can tell me they're more brutal than The Exploited. They just scream. |

Yeah they are. I've heard The Exploited, and they aren't that hard. Screamo bands are very chaotic. |

I have alot of friends who are in to emo, i myself dont like it at all, but that because i havent ever heard real emo, just the shit thats popular. I can actualy see how it migth be good, even with my being a stone cold classic rock fan, if its talking something real, not any of that "i wanna die i hate myself" shit. The stuff u like Jon doesnt sound bad... am i right? |

Yeah, most of the stuff you hear on the radio isn't real emo. They do have some emo influences, but most of them have more of an indie or pop-punk sound.
Most of the good emo bands are from the 80's and 90's, and aren't around anymore. |

hey...i find emo really amazing. It makes sense to me..and alot of people think that way too. The lyrics are great and the music is just awesome.
Well..I cant say that i dont listen to other kinds of music...i listen to punk rock,heavy metal,emo,rock..and all these kind's.I love nirvana..n above all kurt cobain..this person changed alot of people. when ppl hear the name"kurt cobain" they immediately think of "suicde" ehich is totally wrong...if you knew the real story you'd be amazed...he's on eof my fave's... |

YEAH!!!although i love "BLACKMETAL"i also listens to emo screamo punk bands and yes! they are also great....you must also learn to respect other bands,if you want to be respected?coz you know dude! the only band that sucks in the surface of the earth are the hip hop bands like 50 cent'snoopdick and other shit they suck!!!(hey dude!try DIMMU BORGIR)they are awsome! |

Screamo is the worst thing ive ever heard. I can't even hear the fuckin lyrics. What's the point in that! You should just make it a hard ass insturmenatal. It just gets boring listening to a guy scream and jump around like a dipshit. That's not music, that's bullshit!
