omg you are the stupidest fucking people ever. Shawn is right when he says no kelli no. Have another drink and drive yourselves home. I hope there's ice on all the roads. You can think of when you forget your seatbelt, and a gain when your head goes throught the windshield. |

the song is a metaphor for love and relationships. read the lyrics and it shouldnt be too hard to figure out. |

i was making fun of kelli and her straight out teen popper comment, not refering to brand new. I think brand new is one of the best bands out there easily. an apology will not be needed!!!
and how can you not reconize the lyrics of 70 times 7. you people are not brand new fans. sic transit gl...Suck It |

Are you asking what Play Crack the Sky is about? It's about how unexpected love is and how it strands you without knowing what hit you. Brand New relates the shipwreck to a person and the waves as a turning point- or breakup- whatever you wanna call it. the part where it says "the morning finds our bodies washed up 30 miles west" refers to how it hurts both of them. the part saying " am the one who haunts your dreams of mountains sunk below the sea. i spoke the words but never gave a thought to what they all could mean. i know that this is what you want. a funeral keeps both of us apart." means that the person is still thought about, as if- haunting their thoughts. "i spoke the words but never gave a thought to what they all could mean" is how a person never thought of how their words affected someone. The rest is simple, an end to the relationship is what the other person wants, and "putting it to rest" is the only way to keep them apart, as to move on, so to say.
Hope that helped

its about pre-marriatal sex. the ship is the man, and the sea is the women. 'need you like water in my lungs' refers to the man dying in a plane crash."i spoke the words but never gave a thought to what they all could mean" is him asking her to kill herself so he can rule the world and save thier child.
hope that helped

this song is one of my all time favorites. it's also Jesse Lacey, the lead singer's favorite song he's written, in case you were wondering. |

Does anyoe happen to know if Jesse Lacey ever worked aboard a ship, or lived aboard one? In his lyrics and references to nautical terms leads me to believe he has yet i can not find any information about it. I am just interested because its what im planning to do as a carreer. Please email me if you have any info. Thanks, Blair h2opolonavy@aol.com |
